I use the InterNACHI Residential Standards of Practice not only because it’s one of the most thorough standards in the industry, but also clearly states what is inspected and what is not inspected. This allows me as an inspector to go above and beyond what is expected by industry standards.
Ethics in any industry is imperative. Standards should be met or exceeded to protect the client and their best interests. I’m a true believer of treating people the way that I would expect to be treated.
